Ceramic Filter Cartridge 2.75" x 10"
This cartridge offers the highest filtration efficiencies available in a ceramic based filter element. Uniquely designed having a ceramic pre-filter shell outside and inside is a post-filter carbon block insert which combines powdered carbon blends and Zeolite forming a tightly packed matrix. The Ceramic filter has been tested in accordance with ANSI/NSF protocols.
Pathogenic bacteria & Cysts Reduction:
99.9999% Cholera, Typhoid, Salmonella, E. Coli, Fecal Coliform (ALcontrol Laboratories) and 100% Cryptosporidium Parvum, Giardia Lamblia (ALcontrol Laboratories).
Cleanable and Reusable:
Instead of throwing away another filter when it clogs, you simply clean the ceramic to restore the flow rate, and save money.

What is the life expectancy for this filter, if I clean it every 6 months? Also, what ration of CLR to water do you use when doing a derp cleaning of Enagic units. I have your top model marine pump. Thanks, Richatd
