The IonUltra cartridge is manufactured using a proprietary, electro adhesion and ion exchange media. This unique material makes it possible for nonwoven media to perform comparably to ultra-membrane filtration. This avoids the inherent high clean pressure drop and low flow rates associated with membrane filtration. The Ion Ultra is U.S.A. Manufactured product and carries NSF 42 and 61 certifications

Carbon filtration is an effective way to remove chemicals and contaminants commonly found in tap water. These carbon block cartridges are an excellent choice for taste and odor control, chlorine/chloramines reduction, and organic, lead, cyst and an impressive VOC reduction. Each block is wrapped with a polypropylene outer layer and netting to prevent premature clogging of the carbon block.
